Historian Ibn-i Kemal (d. 1534) states in his work Tevarih-i Al-i Osman that Ertugrul Bey had two sons when he came to Anatolia (Greek), while he was living a nomadic life in Sogut in 1254 (652 AH). ) reports the birth of his young son Osman, Lion-shaped and moon-faced.
